Bill Unrein is a founding partner of Skyline Advisors whom has now retired after three decades of illustrious service in the financial industry. He remains a close member of our larger Skyline Advisors family.

After working for over 16 years at Smith Barney and subsequently Morgan Stanley, Bill and his team left in 2012 to establish Fairhaven Financial Advisors. Bill is a native of Whatcom County, growing up in Ferndale and working in senior management in the banking industry for almost 20 years. He received a BA in Business and Economics from Western Washington University, a degree from Pacific Coast Banking School University of Washington, and a Financial Planning Certificate from Kaplan University.

He has been active in the community having been a member and served as President of Bellingham Bay Rotary, Boys and Girls Clubs of Whatcom County, Bellingham Golf and Country Club as well as serving as a Mentor for the Bellingham SCORE Chapter.

Bill and Kae have been married over 49 years. Their personal interests include family activities, golfing and traveling. He is a big fan of the Washington Huskies and the Seattle Seahawks. They have two daughters, Megan and Erica, and six grandchildren.
